Ana Maria Ferreira is Member of AMTSBE Scientific and Global Advisory Council. Associate Professor, Department of Sociology, School of Social Sciences, University of Évora (Portugal) since 2012. From 1992-2012, she was Professor at the University of the Algarve, also in Portugal. She received her Master in history of the art from the New University of Lisbon and PhD in tourism from the Department of Economics, Management, Industrial Engineering and Tourism from the University of Aveiro. Throughout her career he has participated in research projects financed by FCT and the European Union and produced several scientific articles, chapters of books, and books. Supervises Master doctoral theses. Currently she is a member of the editorial board of Tourism and Management Studies (indexed on the Web of Knowledge/Web of Science).
