The Tourism Intelligence Forum (t-Forum) announces its 2018 Global Exchange Conference, to be held in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, from 11-13 March 2018.  Organised by the t-Forum, the conference is hosted by its Founding Members and supported by industry/academic/government sponsors.

Similar to the inaugural t-Forum conference held in Naples, Italy, the 2018 conference, Tourism Intelligence Exchange @ the Industry-Academia Junction, is the meeting and interaction ground for members of destination organisations, tourism and hospitality businesses, and academic institutions. The conference showcases collaborative participation in highly visible interactive sessions. Its moves beyond customary programs by featuring get-involved Open Space, Crowdstorming, Brokerage, and Speed Dating sessions, as well as keynote speakers, panel, paper, and workshop sessions—bringing to life new collaborative styles for the mobilization of t-Intelligence.  The best four paper presentations will receive the Valene L. Smith Award of €1,000 each during the Gala Dinner. Authors of a selected number of presentations (between 15 and 18 papers) will be invited to submit their revised versions for inclusion in the Bridging Tourism Theory and Practice book series (published by Emerald). The conference will also provide the participants with unique technical visits of Mallorca—known as the tourism capital of Spain—on the last day of the conference.
