HRH Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the second son of His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, is Chairman & President of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage. In 1985 he was chosen to represent the Arab world’s satellite agency as Payload Specialist on the Space Shuttle Discovery Mission STS 51G. With his Master’s Degree in Social and Political Science (Syracuse University, USA), he is the Chairman of the Disabled Children Association. In 1996 he founded the NGO Al-Turath (Heritage) and serves as its President. He is also Founder and Chairman of the Saudi Aviation Club; member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Presidency of Civil Aviation in Saudi Arabia; Chairman of King Salman Center Foundation and Center for Disability Research. He enjoys skiing, flying, photography, architecture, reading, and travel.
