Miguel Payeras Industry Liaison

Miguel Payeras is Managing Director of Balears.t (2009 – present), which is the Cluster for Technological Innovation in Tourism of the Balearic Islands, a private non-profit association set up in 2009 and registered in Spain. Balears.t fosters the transformation of tourism to the Balearic Islands of Mallorca, Minorca, Ibiza and Formentera by means of knowledge, innovation and technology www.balearsesturisme.org. He has been working for the tourism industry for the last 30 years, having lived and worked in Europe, the Americas, and for over a decade in Asia. He holds two Masters degrees, one in Civil Engineering from the UPB in Barcelona and another in Business Administration from IESE Barcelona Business School. miguel.payeras@balearsesturisme.org
