Filomena Maurício Fernandes is AMTSBE Vice-President of the Board of Directors. She graduated in medicine, specialist in public health and in health and wellness tourism; co-professor and co-author of books and articles (Brazil, Portugal and USA) on health and wellness tourism. Delivered conference talks in Europe, Brazil, Africa, Asia, and Caribbean countries; visited many touristics destinations worldwide. One of the last destination was Mauritus Islands where she studied Aesthetic Surgery Center of the Indian Ocean. In 2016, she was invited as honor guest in First World Thermalism Forum in Yingkou, China.
