Eduardo Sanovicz

Eduardo Sanovicz is the president of ABEAR, a Ph.D. and Professor of the Tourism Program at the School of Arts, Sciences and Humanities at USP (University of São Paulo). He also acted as a senior consultant for programs and actions in the field of Marketing and Tourism. He graduated in History and has a Master’s and Doctoral degree in Communication Sciences rom the University of São Paulo. Between 2007 and 2011, he was a Director at Reed Exhibitions Alcantara Machado. Between 2001 and 2007, he was a Vice President at the ICCA – International Congress & Convention Association. From January 2003 to August 2006, he was the President of Embratur and was responsible for the implementation of Plano Aquarela and for the creation of the Brazil Brand. From January 2001 to January 2003, he was the President of Anhembi Turismo e Eventos in the City of São Paulo and, from April 1997 to December 2000, Chief Operating Officer at São Paulo Convention & Visitors Bureau. He was the Director of Tourism for the Municipality of Santos, from 1993 to 1996.
